The St. Charles School District Foundation (SCSD Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization led by a volunteer Board of community members. Established in 1992 as a directive of the Board of Education, the Foundation has invested more than $525,000 into classrooms, programs, and student opportunities across the district. Our support has funded innovative enrichment projects, provided gift cards to new teachers as they build their classrooms, and awarded scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing careers in education.
The Foundation exists to benefit every student and staff member in the St. Charles School District. We support innovative projects that spark imagination, strengthen learning, and expand opportunities across all buildings. Our grants help teachers launch new classroom ideas, enhance existing programs, and invest in long‑term educational growth. When our community supports the Foundation, we can fund more meaningful experiences for students throughout the district.
The Foundation recognizes that the district’s budget cannot always cover every creative or forward‑thinking idea. Some projects simply fall outside what traditional funding can support. That’s where we step in — bridging the gap between what is needed and what is possible. By providing additional resources, we help bring innovative learning experiences to life and ensure students have access to opportunities that inspire curiosity and achievement.
Our commitment to students is strengthened by the generosity of families, staff, alumni, and community partners. Every donation — large or small — helps expand programs, enrich classrooms, and support educators who are shaping the future. Continued community support allows the Foundation to grow, adapt, and invest in new opportunities that make a lasting impact across the district.
